Half day: up to 4 hours and 50 road miles per vehicle. Full day: up to 8 hours and 100 road miles per vehicle. Extra mileage is charged at the vehicle’s per-mile rate; extra time is quoted separately. Hourly work has a two-hour minimum and is for local jobs with mileage agreed in the final quote.
Distance pricing uses the higher of road mileage × rate or the minimum charge. Vans include 30 minutes of waiting, then £30/hour in started 15-minute blocks; lorries include 60 minutes, then £50/hour in started 15-minute blocks. Waiting within booked time is included for hourly and day bookings. Extra stops: £15 each per vehicle. Evenings (6pm–8am), weekends and bank holidays add 25% to the base price. Tolls, parking, ferries, clean-air charges and specialist handling are confirmed separately. VAT at 20% is added to the estimate.
These are guide prices. We confirm the vehicle, availability, complete route and final total before accepting a booking. Multiple vehicles are estimated on the same route and schedule; contact us for mixed vehicle types or different routes.
Road routing is a guide, without live traffic or lorry restrictions. Our team checks the appropriate route before booking.

Is the calculator price a confirmed quote?
No. It’s a guide including VAT. Send your job details and we’ll confirm the route, vehicle, availability and total price before booking. After our team confirms your quote and availability, we’ll send a secure payment link for the agreed amount.
How quickly can you collect?
Call us with your collection postcode and deadline. We’ll confirm the earliest collection we can offer for your location and load.
What information do you need?
Collection and delivery postcodes, your preferred date and times, the number of items, dimensions and total weight. Please mention stairs, loading assistance, access restrictions and any special handling.
Can I arrange a regular delivery?
Yes, contact us to discuss the route, frequency and load so we can prepare a tailored proposal.
How are my details used?
The calculator runs in your browser. Route lookup sends postcodes to Postcodes.io and coordinates to the FOSSGIS routing service (OSRM). Quote requests open your email app with the journey details; nothing is submitted until you send the email. We use your enquiry to respond and arrange your requested service. For questions about your information, email sales@freightgo.co.uk. The route map loads tiles from OpenStreetMap. This site does not use advertising or analytics cookies.
